Una Canzone per Sanremo | video

Raffaello Gentili is an Italian singer-songwriter that often crosses the border between music and comedy.
The song was shortlisted for the famous Italian music festival of Sanremo, but they eventually realised every word was parodying the the whole event and hype surrounding it, and he was kicked out.
There was no better time to release the track as the festival was around the corner, and he quickly needed a video that was to be created in just a few days.
I came up with the idea of mixing heavily effected images of him with old footage from 30s and 40s editions of the event.
The video has reached a total of 60k+ views.

My roles were those of off-site Director, Co-editor and FX.
